A soft pastel 돌잔치 card sewn from translucent ramie silk. The hero is a 조각보 patchwork hanging from a wooden rod in a sunlit window — blush, peach, butter, mint, sky and lilac patches sew themselves in around the baby's photo while light drifts across the cloth, and a rose-and-jade norigae tassel sways from the hem beneath a script “First Birthday”, the baby's name and the date. The D-day and the baby's days of love are stitched-on patches, and a “Bundle of Blessings” lets guests untie a bojagi knot and watch the cloth unfold to an embroidered peach, peony, butterfly, lotus, cloud or bamboo, each with a blessing for the baby.
